Full Slate is seeking a part-time or full-time Software Support Specialist to assist small businesses in setting up and using web-based appointment scheduling software. We view customer service as a sales function rather than a cost center, and see this role is critical to our company's growth and success.
You will man a virtual help desk and interact with customers by phone, email, online chat and screen sharing. Roughly 75% of your time will be invested in reaching out to new accounts and helping them get the most out of their free trial. Approximately 25% will involve ongoing technical support and customer service.
The primary objective for this role is to convert trial accounts into paid subscriptions. You will be responsible for executing the company’s current CRM plan while continually refining procedures to improve conversion. We use cloud software including Zendesk and TactileCRM to manage inbound support tickets and outbound CRM. Most internal correspondence and coordination is via Skype, phone and email.
You can work remotely from a home office. There’s some flexibility in defining your hours; you can choose weekdays, nights or weekends but must commit to a set schedule. The position requires a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, with the possibility of converting to full time if desired. Full time equivalent (pro-rated for part-time) base pay is $27,500-$30,500/year DOE, plus incentive bonuses targeting an additional 25%.

• Have prior experience with inbound sales and/or customer support
• Be Internet and computer savvy. Prior experience in the tech industry is strongly preferred.
• Be willing and able to work independently from home. A high-speed Internet connection, your own computer and phone are required. Demonstrated success working remotely is desired (though not required). We've got a great team to help you be successful, but you have to be a self-starter and comfortable working on your own.
• Be willing to follow established procedures when they are in place, identify how processes can be improved, and institute new systems if necessary
